Safe Place For Youth (SPY) is a non-profit on Lincoln Boulevard in Venice, CA that aims to solve youth homelessness in Los Angeles. Their mission is simple, raw, and true:

To inspire, nurture and empower the resilient human spirit of homeless youth by providing immediate and lasting solutions one young person at a time.

They support youth ages 12-25 experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles to transition off the streets and into stable housing and employment. SPY assists young people to help build self-resiliency and regain control over their daily lives through five core areas of services provided:

1. Drop-in services

2. Street outreach

3. Case management

4. Healing arts

5. Employment and educational services. 

During the fiscal year 2018, SPY supported over 1,300 individual youth across their continuum of services including more than 23,000 meals and 2,600 hot showers at SPY's drop in-center. Safe Place For Youth operates on the support of private foundations, government funding, and the generosity of individual donors like you. Click here to learn more!
