Safe Place For Youth (SPY) is a non-profit in Venice, CA that aims to solve youth homelessness in Los Angeles.

Their mission is simple, raw, and true:

To empower young people experiencing homelessness to thrive by providing lasting, community-driven solutions that address racial and social inequity.

They support youth ages 12-25 experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles to transition off the streets and into stable housing and employment.

SPY assists young people to help build self-resiliency and regain control over their daily lives through a robust continuum of care with services including:

  1. Low-Barrier Drop-in Services

  2. Street Outreach

  3. Case Management

  4. Healing Arts

  5. Employment and Educational Services. 

  6. Housing

  7. Health and Wellness Programming 

During fiscal year 2023, SPY supported over 1,700 individual youth across their continuum of services including 307 youth in housing, 502 young people involved in case management and 126 youth received therapy.
