Safe Place For Youth’s mission is simple, raw, and true:

To inspire, nurture and empower the resilient human spirit of homeless youth by providing immediate and lasting solutions one young person at a time.

Safe Place For Youth is an access center on Lincoln Boulevard in Venice, CA that supports youth ages 12-25 experiencing homelessness in western Los Angeles to transition off the streets and into stable housing and employment. Safe Place for Youth (SPY) assists young people to help build self-resiliency and regain control over their daily lives through four core areas of services provision:

Drop-in services, street outreach, case management, and employment and educational services. During fiscal year 2016, Safe Place For Youth has supported 1,000 individual youth across their continuum of services including 6,000 visits by youth to their drop in-center. Safe Place For Youth operates on the support of individual donors and foundation support.
